An informal robe of blue silk damask,
woven with cloud scrolls, delicately embroidered in silks with peacocks and pheasants in pine trees amongst rockwork, the ground scattered with butterflies, prunus blossom and further auspicious flowers and fruit, interspersed with endless knot worked in gilt thread, trimmed with sleevebands and borders of ivory satin and applied cloud collar, second half of the nineteenth century
