of blue wool facecloth, the central cartouche worked with courtiers in an ornamental garden beneath blossoming prunus trees, around a central lotus flower medallion, the borders with peonies, orchids and further flowers within a band of scrolling foliage, worked predominantly in Peking Knot, with satin stitch details, second half of the 19th century--170cm x 276cm
