A Japanese lacquer table cabinet
of rectangular shape, the red cinnabar casing carved with mythical dragons amongst clouds, decorated copper hinges and handle, the doors with gilt lacquer panels inlaid in mother-of-pearl and horn with birds amongst flowering branches, the interior with three long drawers decorated with flowers and foliage, the insides in roironuri -- 10½in. (26.7cm.) wide, 19th Century, (old wear).
