with silk bound shagreen hilt, shakudo menuki modelled as double gourds, iron pierced quatrefoil tsuba, gilt iron fittings, stippled black lacquer scabbard, the blade with choji hamon -- 23¾in. (60.3cm) long, signed Harry Masa, circa 1500.
