An Imari deep bowl and cover
with karashishi and brocade ball finial, painted and gilt with panels of pavilions in mountainous, tree-strewn landscapes and coiled dragons chasing flaming pearls on grounds of kiku sprays and scrolling foliage -- 85/8in. (22cms) diam, circa 1700, (cover with chip and finial damaged).
