A set of six Japanese paintings
in sumi, gofun and colour on silk depicting mythical scenes of oni amongst clouds variously painting rainbows, pouring snow and rain showers and creating gusts of wind above groups of people on foot and pulling carts -- each 42½in. x 16¼in. (108cms x 41.2cms), 19th century, (light surface soiling and wear).
