Two large Chinese paintings in ink and colour on silk
divided into panels, decorated with ladies on terraces of pavilions examining scrolls, seated in conversation, entertaining gentlemen, playing musical instruments in gardens of pine, bamboo and rockwork, attendants carrying dishes, scrolls and other items, horses grazing and frolicking beneath a large wilow tree and boys fishing from the terrace of one riverside pavilions -- 53¾in. x 42½in. and 54¼in. x 69½in. (136.5cms x 108cms) and (137.7cms x 176.5cms), framed, one glazed, 18th century, (areas of damages, losses and flaking to silk, some areas of water staining).
