AN ANGLO-INDIAN IVORY AND EBONY-INLAID BUREAU-CABINET
Late 18th Early 19th Century, Vizagapatam
Decorated overall with foliate borders, the moulded rectangular cornice above a frieze drawer and four small drawers flanked by a door to each side and enclosing pigeon-holes and three drawers, above a bureau-slope, enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon-holes and a drawer flanked by columnar-drawers and three further drawers to each side, above a long drawer, enclosing a fitted interior with four glass phials and lidded compartments, on bracket feet, with hardwood carcas, with fragmentary label for 'Witney Antiques' to the reverse, on a red velvet covered modern stand
