A Worcester flared cylindrical spill vase
probably Flight, Barr & Barr, with eagle head and ring handles, painted in the manner of Samuel Astles with a loose spray of garden flowers among grasses below a cloudy sky, within a gilt octagonal panel between gilt pendant leaves above a sea-green ground section, the collar applied with a beaded band, on a square-section base, circa 1825 (light rubbing to gilding, some minor scratches to ground colour) -- 8.5cm. high
