The light tan field with fine indigo scrolling tendrils linking palmettes and serrated leaves overlaid by bold scrolling polychrome arabesques and split palmettes, the split palmettes in the centre of each side linking to form part quatrefoil panels containing similar motifs, in a light green border of palmettes and serrated leaves between ivory and pale tan floral meander stripes, corroded black and ivory, two borders made up from the larger original, silk powdering throughout, spot stains, slight wear and staining to centre, backed, stretched, framed and glazed
