Collation: a-h10 i-l12 m-t10 v14 x-z10 \\i \\j10 aa-gg10 hh8 ii-ll10 mm12 nn-pp10 qq12 (a1 blank, a2r Old Testament, ii1r New Testament, qq12v blank). 421 leaves (of 422, without first blank). 53 lines, double column. Type: 1:150G, 5*:79G. 3- to 14-line initials in red or blue, major initials with contrasting penwork decoration, often with green highlighting, red capital strokes. (Margins reinforced in 20 leaves, marginal repairs in about 6 leaves, quire b rehinged, some light browning, light dampstain at upper corners in first and final quires.) Late 19th-century green morocco panelled in gilt, sides and spine from different skins, earlier label preserved on spine, red speckled edges (few scuffs at edges). Provenance: early annotations (trimmed).
