Chancery 2° (299 x 200mm). Collation: \Kp\k2 a-i8 (\Kp\k1r title, \Kp\k1v table, a1r text, i7v colophon, i8r register, i8v large printer's device). 74 leaves. 65 lines and headline. Type: 20:170G, 32:85G, 33:74Ga, 80 Greek. Text diagrams, woodcut white-on-black initials, a few initial spaces. (\Kp\k1.2 and a1.8 strengthened at hinge, some light browning.) English c.1825 red straight-grained morocco, gilt arabesque roll border on sides with narrow palmette roll as inner border, gilt spine, brown glazed endpapers, gilt edges, padded out with blank leaves watermarked 1822, by Storr of Grantham, with his label at end (a few minor scuffmarks). Provenance: unlocated College of St. Barnabas of the congregation of St. Paul (17th-century title inscription); [Sir John Hayford Thorold (1773-1831, Syston Park, attribution in sale catalogue of)]; Mrs. C.M.
