Chancery 2° (289 x 202mm). Collation: a-l10 m8 2m8 n-p P10 q-t10 v8 x10 y-z8 aa12 bb-kk8 ll-mm6 (a1 blank, a2r text, mm3v colophon, tabula, mm6r register, mm6v blank). 336 leaves, sheets x4.7 and 5.6 reversed in binding at an early date, the mistake noted by a contemporary annotator. 50 lines, double column, printed guide-letters. Type: 2:150G, 1:77G. 20-line initial opening text in red with green Maiblumen penwork decoration, other initials, paragraph marks, capital strokes and headlines in red. (Small marginal wormtrack in first and final two quires, those at the beginning repaired, marginal tear in g2.) Early 20th-century purple morocco, single blind fillet border and lozenge on sides, spine lettered in gilt (a few scuffmarks, tear at head of spine). Provenance: Botendale monastery, near Brussels, Belgium (contemporary inscription 'Pro conventu botendalesi extra bruxellam ducatus brabantie', annotations and corrections by a careful reader); Marburg (16th-century inscription added to end of Botendale's 'datus pro conventu Marpurgensis'); Albert Ehrman (monogram on rear pastedown).

SECOND EDITION. One of only a handful of editions printed by this partnership. It was dissolved in early 1478, and Novimagio continued printing on his own intermittently until 1496.
