Chancery 2° (273 x 196mm). Collation: [1-510] (1/1 blank, 1/2r text, 5/9v colophon, 5/10 blank). 48 (of 50, without first and final blank) leaves. 38 lines. Type: 1:103G. Woodcut Maiblumen and outline lombard initials. (Very light dampstain at lower margin and a few fore-edges.) Mid 20th-century half black morocco, flat spine lettered in gilt, red edges. Provenance: contemporary marginal annotations; 'Duplum' on first leaf, stamp removed (Munich, Royal Library duplicate?); sale Sotheby's 17 February 1891, lot 664, £2.
FIRST EDITION. Despite a long tradition of attribution to St. Bonaventura, the work is by the Minorite Conradus Holzinger de Saxonia.
