Collation: a-g12 h-t8.12 v 1-58.8.12 6-138.12 A12 B10 2a8 2 b10 (a1 blank, a2 Supplementum, A1r Consilia, 2a1 table, 2b9 colophon, 2b10 blank). 374 leaves (of 380, without first and final blank, and lacking b6-9); Consilia bound after the first blank, before the Supplementum, from an early date. 50 lines, double column. Type: 60G, 110G. 13-line initial opening Supplementum in blue with red penwork decoration, 2- to 5-line initials and paragraph marks in red or blue, MS catchwords and guide-letters. (Very occasional spotting.) Early 20th-century purple morocco, gilt triple fillet border on sides, gilt spine and turn-ins, gilt edges, signed by Broca, London. Provenance: William Henry Smith, Viscount Hambleden (sale Sotheby's 16 April 1945, lot 227, £13 to Foyle).
