Stang, etchings in proof state on india paper mounted, titles printed in red and black. The two volumes differently bound by Zaehnsdorf, volume I in citron morocco gilt floral border with red morocco onlaid roses, white morocco onlay lily, gilt spine with roses of red morocco onlays, olive watered silk liners, top edge gilt; volume II in olive morocco with shaped compartment formed by maroon morocco onlay, floral gilt border, spine similarly tooled, maroon watered silk liners, top edge gilt (spine lightly faded), both volumes signed by Zaehnsdorf on front turn-ins and dated 1896. Number 38 of 200 copies on handmade paper and with etchings in proof state. Provenance: Alfred Trapnell (bookplate).
