Both volumes uniformly-bound in blue polished calf gilt by Bayntun (Riviere), gilt double fillet borders on covers, the spines gilt in 6 compartments divided by raised bands, contrasting gilt morocco lettering-pieces in 2 compartments, dated at the foot, the other compartments decorated with fleurons surrounded by ornate cornerpieces, board edges and turn-ins roll-tooled in gilt, gilt edges.
