PRINTED ON VELLUM. 4° (210 x 160mm). Calligraphic manuscript title illuminated in gold and colours and heightened in white. Illuminated initials and borders at the start of each book in gold and colours, heightened in white, 163 woodcut initials variously illuminated in gold and colours, woodcut tailpieces, one illuminated. Contemporary crushed chestnut morocco gilt, the covers with large central panels stamped in blind with a repeated rose pattern, gilt- and blind-fillet borders enclosing rows of blind-stamped rings, the spine gilt in 6 compartments, lettered in 2, the others decorated with blind-stamped rose tools within gilt frames, gilt and blind-ruled turn ins, gilt edges.
