Later half crushed brick-red morocco by Zaehnsdorf, the spines gilt in 6 compartments divided by raised bands, titled in 2, the others decorated with a gilt floral tool, top edges gilt, others uncut (a few corners very lightly rubbed).
FIRST COLLECTED EDITION, ONE OF 1,000 COPIES ON HAND-MADE PAPER, of an edition of 1,080. This edition was edited by Wilde's friend and literary executor, Robert Ross, and contains some previously unpublished pieces (e.g. the play The Duchess of Padua) and some previously published work with additional material (e.g. De profundis). Mason 420, 423, 425, 427, 429, 431, 433, 435, 437, 439, 441, 443, 445, and 447. (14)
