2° (413 x 315mm). 26 hand-coloured aquatint plates by Dubourg. (Occasional small repaired tears to blank margins of text leaves.) 20th-century red half morocco gilt, gilt edges.

A fine copy of a work that was clearly popular: first published by Taylor's Architectural Library in 1820, the present copy demonstrates that the work was still in print thirty years later. Cf. Abbey Travel I.180 & 181; Tooley 188.
Special notice
