Later red half morocco gilt, spines gilt with bird motifs stamped in compartments (one strip worn on lower cover of one vol., extremities lightly rubbed), top edges gilt; together with William Chapman Hewitson's British Oology (Newcastle upon Tyne, [1831-42], 2 vols), Hume & Marshall's The Game Birds of India, Burmah, and Ceylon (Calcutta, 1879-81, 3 vols.), Lord Lilford's Notes on the Birds of Northamptonshire and Neighbourhood (London, 1895, 2 vols.), E.
