Half title, folding engraved frontispiece and 6 plates, one folding (occasional spotting). Contemporary crimson morocco gilt, spines gilt with black morocco lettering-piece gilt edges, with a contemporary FORE-EDGE PAINTING OF EVESHAM. Provenance: T. Beale (bookplate); O.G. Contemporary purple crushed morocco, spine gilt in compartments (a few scuff marks, corners a little rubbed). LIMITED TO 250 "PRIVATE IMPRESSION" COPIES; together with 5 other topographical works including Thomas Pennant's The Journey from Chester to London (London, 1782) and William Smith The Particular Description of England (London, 1879, limited to 250 copies, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED).
