An oak press cupboard, possibly West Country, late 17th century
blind fret-carved overall, the upper section with a foliate lunette front and side frieze and with drop pendants, with a pair of panelled doors centred with a geometrical motif, either side of a central lozenge filled panel and with gouge-carved and trailing foliate stiles, the lower section with conforming frieze and a pair of triple panelled doors, the upper panel with conforming lunette decoration, on channelled stile feet and with a pierced wavy lower apron rail, the lower section re-framed at the back, some restorations -- 58½in. (149cm.) wide, 62in. (158cm.) high, 21in. (54cm.) deep
