A large oak press cupboard, North Country, late 17th century
with a later moulded cornice and frieze carved with foliage and grotesque type creatures, above a pair of twin panelled doors flanking a twin panel centre section, each with a foliate filled lozenge carved upper panel with scrolling detail, flanked by channelled uprights, the 18th century base with three drawers and stile feet, the sides panelled, some alteration -- 76½in. (195cm.) wide, 74½in. (190cm.) high, 23in. (58cm.) deep
