An oak press cupboard, Lake District, late 17th century
the upper section with scrolling carved frieze with initials and date P.M. 1687, with drop finials to either end, above a pair of panelled doors carved with interlacing geometrical motifs and guilloche, either side of a central panel with a similar geometrical scrolling motif, the lower section with an arrangement of three panelled doors and three plain panels, with channelled moulded uprights and stile feet, later parts -- 64in. (163cm.) wide, 58in. (147cm.) high, 22½in. (57cm.) deep
