An oak chest-on-stand, English, early 18th century
with a moulded top, above two short and three long geometrically moulded drawers, the sides panelled, the stand with a pair of twin moulded panelled drawers and twin arcaded apron, on baluster legs joined by wavy stretchers and with bun feet, re-backed and all drawers re-lined -- 40in. (102cm.) wide, 58in. (147cm.) high, 24½in. (62cm.) deep
