A satinwood, tulipwood-crossbanded and parquetry writing table, 19th century
Probably English, in the style of Donald Ross, the rectangular top inset with a tooled green leather panel with re-entrant corners and crossbanded in tulipwood, with a purplewood and ebony interlaced trellis surround, with similar inlaid frieze containing two drawers centred by roundel crossbanding and bordered with a brass edge, on brass headed tapered legs with brass fluted edges terminating in brass cappings
