An Imari bowl of similar design mounted in France circa 1720 with engraving similar to the above is in the J. Paul Getty Museum, Malibu, California (79.DI.123) and illustrated Mounted Oriental Porcelain, Washington, 1986, pl.13. A pair of lidded bowls of Arita porcelain in the Residenzmuseum in Munich (PVG 394; PVG 395) have similar but simpler mounts of Parisian silver of circa 1710-1715.
