stamped and pierced with scrollwork, with five chained appendages, comprising: a retractable pencil, an ivory-leaved notepad, a thimble-holder, a pin cushion in the form of a book, and a scissors sheath, probably English, late 19th century; a silver chatelaine clip, cast and pierced with cherubs, amidst flowers and scrollwork, with 3 chained appendages, comprising: a needle-case, a retractable pencil and an ivory-leaved notepad, continental, circa 1850; a cut-steel chatelaine clip, with five chained appendage, comprising: a pin cushion, a needle-case, a pencil, an ivory-leaved notepad and a small blade; and a further chatelaine clip, with three chained appendages comprising: a needle-case, an ivory-leaved notepad and a Holy Water sprinkler.
