With tapering blade of flattened diamond section stamped 'Antonio Hernan (sic)' in the single fullers at the forte, iron hilt of spirally fluted bars of oval section, the inner guard of four narrow bars, wooden grip swelling at the centre and bound with steel wire, and globular spirally fluted pommel
