With browned twist sighted barrels signed on the top flat, engraved case-hardened patent breeches incorporating the back-sights, foliate engraved case-hardened tangs and locks, the latter signed and fitted with safety-catch, varnished figured walnut three-quarter stocks, flattened chequered butts, engraved blued iron mounts, engraved case-hardened pommels, silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, blued stirrup ramrods, and nearly all their original finish: in original lined and fitted oak case with some accessories, the lid with trade label of Lacy & Reynolds, 21, Great St. Helen's, Crosby Square, London, the exterior with flush-fitting carrying handle engraved 'Val: Morris Jun.r/Surrey Yeomanry Cavalry', London proof marks
