The first with twist sighted barrel (lightly pitted and discoloured) with platinum line and touch-hole, and engraved 'London' on the top flat, engraved tang, signed flat bevelled lock with stepped tail, safety-catch, roller, and semi-rainproof pan (top jaw and screw replaced), figured walnut three-quarter stock (bruised), chequered butt, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guard with pineapple finial, silver escutcheon and barrel-bolt escutcheons, horn fore-end cap, and stirrup ramrod, Birmingham proof marks; the second with signed rebrowned twist sighted barrel with platinum line and touch-hole, engraved tang, signed engraved flat lock with roller and raised pan, walnut full stock (fore-end cracked), engraved iron mounts, silver escutcheon, and brass-tipped ramrod
