Converted from flintlock, with signed rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrels, patent breeches each with gold line and rectangle (originally the maker's stamp), and pierced platinum plug, engraved tangs, engraved bolted locks each with gold-lined mark, figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, engraved reblued iron mounts, silver escutcheons each engraved with a crest and initials, set triggers, silver barrel-bolt escutcheons and fore-end caps, and iron-tipped ramrods (one ramrod-pipe loose, some wear and minor defects): in a brass-bound lined and fitted mahogany case with some accessories, London proof marks
