Converted from flintlock, with rebrowned signed hexagonal barrels (signatures refreshed), case-hardened patent breeches, case-hardened engraved tangs, signed engraved case-hardened flat detented locks, figured walnut full stocks (minor defects), chequered butts, engraved iron mounts including spur trigger-guards each with pineapple finial, silver escutcheons, and brass-tipped ramrods each with worm (one worm-cover missing): in associated relined and refitted mahogany case with some accessories including a brass-mounted three-way copper flask, the lid with facsimile trade label of circa 1823, the exterior with flush-fitting carrying handle
