With two-stage barrel retained by a French-style brass band linked by a bar to the side-plate, flat bevelled lock stamped 'LT/58' crowned and with rounded tail, ring-topped hammer, walnut three-quarter stock stamped with Delft arsenal mark, brass mounts, and stirrup ramrod
