A Large Persian (Shiraz) Brass Gang Bullet Mould
Dated 1803
For 41 balls of various calibres, formed of two retangular leaves hinged together at one end, extended as handles at the other, and secured by a fixed internal pin, the mouths of the cavities opening along both edges, one side set in a deep channel, and engraved with four cartouches on the outside, two containing foliage, and the maker's signature in Arabic characters
