24pp. exhibition catalogue The British Antarctic Expedition, 1907-9, small 4° (230 x 177mm). Printed in red and black. Portrait. Original wrappers, print of 'Nimrod' mounted on upper cover (small tears to extremities).
1p. menu card Crystal Palace July 17th 1909 (211 x 132mm.), in blue, with embossed J.Lyons & Co Ltd crest at head in red. Provenance: autograph signatures in ink of Ernest Joyce and Frank Wild (the first expedition's zoologists and printers of the Aurora Australis). The meal included 'Crême South Pole' and 'Pêches Schackleton' [sic].

Original card covers, the upper with oval photogravure portrait of Shackleton flanked by polar scenes, the title below, hand-coloured draped flags above.
