Portrait of Mrs Henry Mildmay, full-length, in a fur-lined satin gown and red wrap, holding flowers

The inscription is difficult to decipher but on the basis of what is legible the sitter, seems likely to be Dorothy, daughter and heiress of John Eastmant of Sherborne, Dorset who married Carew Herrey Mildmay of Hazlegrove, Somerset, and of Mules, Essex, M.P. of Harwich in 1718.
