Lot Essay

William Gore (1711-1769) of Woodford, co. Leitrim, M.P. 1729-1760 and 1762-1769, eldest son of William Gore (died before 1729) and his wife Eleanor, daughter of Sir George St. George, Bt., married Sarah, daughter of Rt. Hon. Thomas Bligh, P.C. and sister of 1st Earl of Darnley in 1733 and died without issue, when his estates settled to his nephew, William Gore (see lot 111).
