Robert Godolphin Owen (1733-1792), eldest son of William Owen of Porkington, Cleneney, Glyn and Llanddyn and his wife Mary, sister and sole heiress-at-law of last Lord Godolphin of Heston. He was High Sheriff for co. Merioneth 1768-69 and for co. Carnarvon 1769-70 and died unmarried. For a miniature of his younger brother, Francis see lot 57.
