(Probably) given by the artist to Marie Darbisse, godmother of Noel Hallé, and given in turn by her to her godson
Noel Hallé (1711-1781), by whom bequeathed to his wife, and given by her to their son, Jean-Noel, on the occasion of his marriage, 1785, and by descent until
Madame Félix Hallé, 1905.
