Details
One of the most distinguished domaines of the Côte de Nuits. Grapes are harvested late, no new oak is used and the wines are fined with egg whites but never filtered. Nor is sulphur dioxide used during the winemaking process. Vineyard yields are among the lowest on the Côte - in the top grand crus such as Chambertin, Clos St-Denis, Clos de la Roche as low as 9 to 13 hectolitres per hectare. At their best these are opulent, highly concentrated and perfumed wines.
