"Jacques, Marquis d'Angerville, is the doyen of Volnay. The family has been making wines in the village for 190 years, was one of the very first in Burgundy to start domaine-bottling the entire produce of the estate, and has been producing high quality since at least the 1920s. D'Angerville is one of the greatest names in Burgundy, and the wines, despite being true Volnays, are built to last." Clive Coates M.W.
