Twelve battle scenes by the artist are listed in the 1738 inventory and twelve were sent to Germany between 12 September 1736 and March 1739 (see A. Binion, op. cit., 1990, pp. 262-269); the 1741 inventory lists thirteen and that of c. 1750 ten.
