A Sèvres style gilt-metal mounted two-handled monteith
painted with a shepherd and shepherdess, the reverse with a loose spray of flowers, within gilt leaf scroll cartouches issuing flowers, on a turquoise ground below a crenelated gilt dentil rim, supported on gilt metal feet cast as stylised dolphins between pierced leaf scroll aprons, imitation Sèvres marks, circa 1870 (the foot reduced, minor damage) -- 28cm. wide
