A needlework panel, embroidered in coloured wools and silks with the Assumption of the Virgin, the virgin being carried toward Heaven by three angels, one holding a branch of lillies while dropping a garland of roses (at the apostles below) above an open tomb surrounded by clouds and rays of light--26 x 19 1/2, probably late 18th century, reworked, mounted on strecher; and a needlepoint cushion cover, embroidered in coloured wools and silks with a coat of arms with a shield with three bugles supported by two heraldic supporters beneath a crown, above a scroll inscribed Venator Honoris--13 x 20in.
