The coffer early 18th Century
Decorated overall with foliage and foliage trellis-work borders, the moulded rectangular hinged top with two shaped panels enclosing scenes of birds and animals in a moutainous landscape, the reverse of the top with two storks, the front of the chest with conforming panels and a pierced shaped lock-plate engraved with a landscape, the sides and the reverse each with a conforming foliage panel and on a nashiji ground, the sides with carrying-handles, on a later stand with square fluted legs and block feet
