Two silver champlevé enamel Salts
one marked Khlebnikov with Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1883; the other with the initials of Semen Kazakov, Moscow, circa 1890
Circular with convex sides, the first with a band of opaque white and translucent red floral and foliate decoration within shaped compartments of blue; the second gilded with the Russian adage 'It is a poor feast without bread and salt' within decorative borders, marked under bases
