marked with the Cyrillic initials of Vasilii Semenov, Moscow, 1862, retailed by Sazikov
Comprising a knife, fork, table-spoon and tea-spoon, the handles and bowls decorated with niello floral and foliate scrolls and with Russian adages, enclosing square cartouches with the engraved initial 'R', the gilt spoon-handles with knop finials, the knife with steel blade marked 'Iakovlevoi', fully marked, in velvet and silk-lined leather case, the base with leather label stamped in Russian 'Sazikov' with Imperial warrant
