The first circular, the cup with spreading lip and scroll foliate handle, the front with painted view of the town of Akerman within gilt ciselé border with title, the back and the saucer with gilt ciselé scrolling vine with leaves and bunches of grapes, on russet ground (saucer repaired), apparently unmarked; the figure of the cobbler realistically modelled, shown seated sewing a sole, on shaped circular ground, marked under base
